This is week two of my blog and I’m still watching prices drop on homes in Fresno and Madera. So far this year, better that 15% of the active MLS listings have reduced their price. This goes back to my theory from last weeks post that many of the listing that are not in short sales or foreclosure are probably on their way soon! According to County records, the median home price in Fresno dropped 4% from October to November 2010 and 16% from November 2009 verses November 2010. When the December numbers become available I’ll be surprised if there is not another double-digit decrease.
The good news is these price reductions are making already great prices even better and I am busier now than I have been in the last several months. There are some great deals to be had … lets go home shopping. Sell Sell Sell!
